What are the worst "part II' movie sequels ever made? This list includes some pretty heinous sequels to some decent first films. When a movie becomes a huge hit, it never fails: Hollywood execs start seeing more dollar signs, and sequels get green lights - even when they're ridiculous. It happens. A lot. What, exactly, is the purpose of a sequel movie? It should advance the story, or fill in some of the back story around the original film. It should not, as many of these bad sequels did, tarnish the good name of the original film. Why on earth would you follow up one of the funniest comedy movies of all time, 'Caddyshack,' with the abomination that was 'Caddyshack II'? The very best movie franchises in cinema history all have one thing in common: For the most part, the sequels were pretty darn entertaining.
Some of the worst part 2 movie sequels listed here also have the distinction of having the dumbest movie sequel titles ever as well. 'Teen Wolf Too'? Really? If you're going to make a crappy sequel, at least put a little effort into the movie's title.
