"Dolphin Tale 2" movie quotes return to the inspirational story, based on true events, of dolphin Winter at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. The drama sequel was written and directed by Charles Martin Smith, who also created the original "Dolphin Tale" film in 2011. "Dolphin Tale 2" hit theaters on September 12, 2014.
In "Dolphin Tale 2," rescued dolphin Winter, along with her prosthetic tail, is still living at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium along with staff members Dr. Clay Haskett (Harry Connick, Jr.), Hazel Haskett (Cozi Zuehlsdorff) and Dr. Cameron McCarthy (Morgan Freeman), among others. But Winter is lonely and desperately needs to be paired with another female dolphin or she will be taken away in 30 days.
So when the aquarium gets a call that a small female dolphin has been found, Sawyer Nelson (Nathan Gamble), son of Lorraine (Ashley Judd), sees an opportunity to save Winter. The staff are hesitant to pair the new dolphin, named Hope, with Winter but Sawyer urges them to at least try rather than live with the regret of not giving it a chance.

You Have to Shake It Up
Sawyer Nelson: "What are we supposed to do?"
Dr. Cameron McCarthy: "It's a big world, Sawyer. You have to shake it up now and then to get it moving forward."
Sawyer is discouraged when they can't seem to find a solution to help Winter. Cameron, on the other hand, encourages Sawyer to step out of the box to find a solution.
You Can't Just Throw Two Dolphins in the Water Together
Hazel Haskett: "Can we talk about pairing her with Winter?"
Dr. Clay Haskett: "You can't just throw two dolphins in the water together."
Hazel Haskett: "If they don't like each other, we'll lose Winter."
Hazel and Clay ponder pairing Hope with Winter. While they need to find Winter another female partner, this is not a decision they can take lightly.
I Don't Want To Look Back on This Knowing We Didn't Even Try
Sawyer Nelson: "I know Winter. If we don't give her this chance what do we do? I don't want to look back on this knowing we didn't even try."
Hazel Haskett: "Sawyer's right."
Sawyer tries to convince the others to at least try pairing Winter and Hope. He urges that if it doesn't work out, okay, but at least they gave it a try.
Winter Needs To Be Paired with Another Female
USDA Official: "Your female bottlenose, Winter, she's not doing well, Clay… Winter needs to be paired with another female, and soon. I'm giving you 30 days to correct the problem."
Clay learns some bad news about Winter. The aquarium has just 30 days to find her a partner or she could be seized by the USDA.
Welcome to Clearwater Marine Aquarium!
Hazel Haskett: "Hi guys! Welcome to Clearwater Marine Aquarium! How's everybody doing today? Looks like Winter's being extra playful today."
Bethany Hamilton: "Winter's been such an inspiration to me. Isn't she amazing?"
As they speak to fans at the aquarium, Hazel and Bethany also introduce the opening setting of the film. They all work at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium where, as happened in "Dolphin Tale," they are inspired by dolphin Winter and her prosthetic tail.
Now All We Can Do Is Hope
Dr. Clay Haskett: "Now all we can do is hope."
Hazel Haskett: "That's her name."
Dr. Cameron McCarthy: "Hello, Hope"
Hazel gives the new dolphin a very fitting name, Hope, as in what they are doing as they welcome her to the aquarium. It's also what they are getting by having her there.
You Ever Try Bacon?
Dr. Cameron McCarthy: "Does she ever come out?"
Dr. Clay Haskett: "Not much, it's hard to even coax her out to eat."
Dr. Cameron McCarthy: "You ever try bacon? It works with my cat."
Clay explains how Winter is not social anymore and barely comes out even for food. Cameron has the perfect solution to that: Bacon.
Marine Fishery's Just Picked Up a Stranding
Rebecca: "Hey guys, Marine Fishery's just picked up a stranding. Clay, it's a female."
Dr. Clay Haskett: "All right, everyone, when that truck arrives, you will hear one voice and it will be mine. Sawyer, I want you right beside me."

Hazel Haskett: "She's so little!"
Pat: "She's stiffening up. We've got to get her in the water fast."
Dr. Clay Haskett: "I'm going to take her myself."
The aquarium gets a call about a young female dolphin that was just rescued on a local beach. They agree to take her in but little do they know just how lucky this find is for them, for the dolphin and for Winter.
