The greatest pen and paper RPGs (or role-playing games) don't require any kind of fancy technology. No, these RPGs are much more like traditional board games. When in doubt, go for the classics, like RuneQuest, Traveller and the perennially popular Dungeons & Dragons. This list includes a lot of favorites, but it isn't complete, so feel free to add the pen and paper/tabletop RPGs that you love playing the most, too. Vote up the best, vote down the worst and rerank this list any way you want.
If you're looking for something new to play, why not give some of these great, table top RPGs a whirl? It's no accident that RPGs like 'Call of Cthulhu' have been around for a long, long time. Despite the emergence of some incredibly impressive RPG video games, these tabletop RPGs keep us coming back for more. Tabletop RPGs force us to communicate with each other, rather than being glued to a computer or TV screen for hours on end.
Enjoy this list of great table-talk role-playing games, and don't forget to vote for the best tabletop RPG below!

Horror movies, ranked by adrenaline junkies worldwide. Anyone can vote on this CrowdRanked list, and can even add your own favorite chiller to these rankings. Ghosts, zombies, monsters or maybe just the quiet guy down the street who straps on a hockey mask for kicks; these are the movies that scare the pants off you. What are the greatest horror films ever made?
Great horror films have a long and storied history in cinema. From the earliest horror movies like 1922's 'Nosferatu,' to modern classics like the 'Saw' series, scary movies have always had a special place in the collective, twisted hearts of movie goers. Each year, new horror movies come out that are designed to terrify, with evil characters bent on death and destruction. Will they all wind up on a list of the scariest horror movies ever made? Probably not, but not for a lack of trying.
Many of the best horror films are haunted house movies, relying on the setting as a huge, spooky selling factor. Other excellent horror films rely on nausea-inducing tactics, making us recoil in terror, totally disturbed by whatever we're watching on screen. Start with all of the ones on this list, and of course, feel free to add any that might be missing.
Enjoy this list of great horror films, and remember: You can rerank this list in any order you like. Boo!

If 2015 taught us anything at the movies, it’s that big budget flicks are just as popular as ever. A total of 61 films grossed over $100 million worldwide, with Jurassic World leading the way, raking in nearly $1.7 billion globally. This year looks like it may match the blockbusters of 2015, here are the most anticipated movies of 2016.
There is certainly no shortage of superheroes on this upcoming movies list. Perhaps the two most anticipated movies of 2016 are Deadpool and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. It will be interesting to see a new Marvel superhero (played by Ryan Reynolds) franchise take shape, and audiences are definitely already on the edge of their seats, waiting to see whether Ben Affleck is more Christian Bale or George Clooney, when it comes to playing The Dark Knight.
There are also several animated films coming out in 2016. Dory gets her very own flick in Finding Dory. The addictive game Angry Birds is finally coming to the big screen. And, if you haven’t had enough of Kung Fu Panda, the third installment will come at audiences in 3D on January 29.
If you’re into remakes, re-imaginings, or spinoffs, the future movies 2016 should not disappoint. The all-girls Ghostbusters crew starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones hits theaters on July 15. Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway star in Alice Through the Looking Glass, where Alice returns to Wonderland and travels back in time in order to save the Mad Hatter. Additionally, J.K. Rowling makes her screenwriting debut with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a Harry Potter spinoff starring Eddie Redmayne.
Which do you think are the best movies coming out soon? Be sure to up vote for the upcoming Hollywood movies that you are most excited for.

List of the greatest and most memorable dads from through television history. Which TV fathers were the most inspirational? Who taught you the most about growing up and becoming an adult? Which TV fathers were just the funniest and most entertaining? Any TV dads who fit these criteria are eligible for this list, an attempt to drill down into the definitive answer to the question: "Who's the world's favorite TV Dad?"
Vote: Favorite TV Moms of All Time
Classic sitcoms revolving largely around the family gave us a ton of Dads to choose from, and for the most part, they were traditionally good fathers. Guys like Rob Petrie, Andy Taylor and Howard Cunningham looked out for their kids, paid attention to their needs and gave them solid life and career advice.
Through the '80s and '90s, pop culture got a bit a bit more realistic or cynical, depending on who you ask, and TV Dads became more of a hodge-podge of responsibility and immaturity, reflecting the real, complex and often difficult job of being a father. Though there remain the shining examples of great TV dads like Cliff Huxtable from "The Cosby Show" and Dan Conner from "Roseanne," you now had alternative views of fatherhood, like Homer Simpson and the iconic Al Bundy.
But this list doesn't discriminate! If your favorite TV dads are likely to lose their kids at the mall, ignore them in favor of football and beer or forget their birthdays, vote for 'em anyway! Your old man would be proud.

List of the greatest female TV role models. Here are the rankings for the best female characters for your daughter to look up to. The TV shows with great female role models span the decades, from black-and-white to digital film. They also span the style, from live action multi-camera sitcoms to cartoons. Who are some of the best female role models on TV?
You could make a pretty good case for Leslie Knope's passion, Liz Lemon's wit, and Rachel Green's attitude. Or, if people really want to talk about strong independent women, we have listed ladies like Susie Greene from "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and Xena (the Warrior Princess). Some seem to think even Nancy Botwin from "Weeds" is a good female role model on television -- perhaps for her business sense. TV can make a difference in the culture, as shows can set standards and aspirations for young women, or men, with the remote control.

List of the best television doctors, ranked by fans of the doctor characters and their medical shows. Plenty of memorable TV doctors have graced our small screens over the last 50 years, but some television doctors stand out from the rest. From medical dramas and comedies to soap operas and sci-fi thrillers, every great TV show needs a compassionate, competent and - of course - good looking doctor to save the day.
Ever since 'General Hospital' opened its fictional doors more than 50 years ago, there has been a flood of TV shows featuring every type of TV doctor you could imagine. In the beginning, TV doctors were dependable, noble and considerate medical healers in TV shows like 'Medic' and 'Dr. Kildare'. As television evolved, so too did the doctors. On modern TV, doctors now feature complex personalities and dramatic background stories, such as the drug-addicted, enigmatic and astoundingly intelligent antihero Dr. Gregory House and the entire medical squad in 'ER'.
So who are the greatest TV doctors of all time? Whether you prefer dreamy medical heroes like Derek Shephard, Michaela Quinn and James Kildare; the funny antics of Hawkeye Pierce, Perry Cox and Sheldon Cooper; or the drama that comes with Meredith Grey and Christina Yang, you can rest assured that there is an excellent fictional physician on call.

It takes a lot to be one of the worst people of the week. First, you have to do stupid things, and then have no sense of shame or repentance about those things. But more than that, you must never admit you did anything wrong. Called in front of Congress for insider trading? Take the Fifth Amendment! Write a horrible, monstrous blog post calling for rape to be legal? Call it satire! Disenfranchise hundreds of voters for being Jewish? Pay them off!
This week's contenders for Worst Person of the Week include familiar pharma-villain Martin Shkreli, repellent men's rights blogger "Roosh V," a lady upset that a kid didn't get her consent before taking a picture of her horse, a law student who really wants a Kit Kat bar, and a Trump supporter who thinks he's living in Nazi Germany. Good folks, all. And none of them did a darn thing wrong!
As always, vote up the ones who did the dumbest and most terrible things. And don't be shy, you can vote for more than just one.
http://www.ranker.com/list/worst-person-of-the-week-020516/mike-rothschild,
Martin Shkreli
What Happened: Everyone's favorite pharma bro (voted the Worst Person of 2015 by Ranker users!) smirked and stifled laughter through a congressional hearing about the securities fraud charges he's facing. When he wasn't smirking, he was pleading the Fifth Amendment.
The Details: On the advice of his lawyer, Shkreli said nothing. He invoked the Fifth Amendment when asked about everything from his name to his $2 million one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album to what he'd say to patients screwed over by his price gouging.
When he wasn't refusing to self-incriminate, he was making smug, smirking faces and alternating between bored and amused by the whole thing. Immediately afterwards, his lawyer claimed Shkreli had been singled out by Congress, and that he's the hero of the story, not the villain. Shkreli, for his part, broke his silence with a tweet calling the elected officials he'd just appeared in front of imbeciles, then held a web chat with "haters" the next day.
The Board of Elections in Bloomingburg, New York
What Happened: Bigwigs in the tiny New York town attempted to cancel the voting registration of 160 Hasidic Jewish residents. This week, they settled a discrimination lawsuit for $575,000.
The Details: Bloomingburg is truly tiny, with just 285 registered voters. So it came as a shock when notices went out in January 2015 rescinding the registration of 184 voters, 160 of whom happened to be members of the devout Jewish sect. The notices gave no reason for the cancellations, but the village had long been embroiled in a feud with its Hasidic residents, and the notices seemed like part of a plan to remove the group's influence on local politics.
Ten of the voters filed a lawsuit against the County Board of Elections, alleging antisemitism and violation of basic Constitutional rights, and demanding $25 million. After a year of legal wrangling, the Board settled for far less, admitting no wrongdoing, but agreeing to appoint a watchdog group to ensure fair elections.
Daryush “Roosh V” Valizadeh
What Happened: The "men's rights" blogger, pick-up artist maven, and founder of "neo-masculinist" website Return of Kings had to cancel a series of "tribal meetups" after being unable to guarantee the safety of the men who were getting together to discuss more efficient ways to make women feel less safe.
The Details: Roosh V scheduled these meetups for February 6 in cities around the world, as a forum for "masculine men" to bond over stuff masculine men bond over - mostly venting about how terrible women are. Almost immediately, officials in these cities made it clear they wanted nothing to do with Valizadeh, Return of Kings, or the misogynists who populate it. Coming under particular scrutiny was a post Valizadeh made last year on the website calling for rape to made legal if it takes place on public property - a post he claimed was satirical, but only after it had been up a year.
In response to threats and counter-protests, the meetups were cancelled. And in an ironic twist, the blogger who has been accused of exploiting the shyness and anger of young shut-in men was photographed speaking to police outside a Maryland residence that's actually his mother's house, where he appears to live in the basement.
George Vazquez
What Happened: When police in his small Vermont town cautioned Vazquez over a complaint about the number of his Donald Trump yard signs, he responded by comparing the request to remove them to the persecution of Jews in Nazi Germany.
The Details: Vazquez doesn't make the list simply for having a bunch of Donald Trump yard signs. Lots of people have Trump yard signs. He makes the list for his drawing a fale equivalency between the enforcement of local zoning regulations to the mass persecution and massacre by one of the most evil regimes in human history.
To be clear, the Nazis didn't simply remove the yard signs of those who disagreed with the regime - they systematically imprisoned and murdered them. In the case of Vazquez, not only was he not imprisoned and murdered, he wasn't arrested, or even ticketed. He was simply asked by local police to take down three of the four Trump yard signs he was displaying in response to a complaint. That complaint, incidentally, was filed by a housemate of Vazquez.
Nicola Mitchell
What Happened: A Wales father and son won a contest after they took a picture with a horse who spontaneously smiled for the camera. The horse's owner, Nicola Mitchell, then demanded a share of the prize.
The Details: Prestatyn, North Wales, resident David Bellis was out walking with his son Jacob. As they were going down a public path, they stopped to take a picture at the fence of a local horse farm owned by Mitchell. The horse they posed with, Betty, flashed a huge equine grin as David's son took the picture. David then sent the picture in to a contest run by local travel agency Thomson Holidays, and won a free trip worth £2,000.
When Mitchell found out that her horse had been part of a prize-winning picture, she immediately called Thomson Holidays to demand a share of the haul. When told that the prize is actually a vacation, she demanded a piece of that as well, claiming that David should have asked for her consent as the horse's owner. David refused to give up part of the prize, reasoning that you can't split a vacation with someone. The company confirmed that consent of an animal's owner isn't required to take a picture of the animal.
Sean Nivin Riddle
What Happened: New Jersey resident Riddle was arrested after crashing a drone into the Empire State Building while trying to take pictures of the famous building.
The Details: While Riddle's intentions appeared to be benign, New Yorkers are understandably nervous about people flying things into buildings. In this case, Riddle's drone hit the 40th floor and fell down to a landing on the 35th. Riddle was arrested, and naturally, live-tweeted the experience.
![###TWITTER Embed]()
New York City technically has no laws governing what people can and can't do with their drones, though that's likely to change now that someone flew one into a building.
Sandy Rios
What Happened: The far-right American Family Association’s director of governmental affairs, Rios claimed on the air that the Flint water crisis and Zika virus pandemic were made up by liberals to scare and distract people.
The Details: Rios is one of the most virulent propagandists in the conservative movement, regularly accusing immigrants, gay people, and Muslims of all manner of terrible things. On her radio show this week, Rios was confronted by a caller who took her and other conservatives to task for largely ignoring the lead poisoning of the water in Flint.
In response, Rios claimed that the crisis was the fault of Democrats, and that it's not a big deal, but is instead trumped up largely to scare people away from thinking about more important issues - namely, ISIS and illegal immigration.
"The left loves to, they’re now creating this, I’m sorry, I’m going to really go out on a limb here, this Zika virus which I haven’t talked about," Rios stammered. "They love to come up with tragedies and they love to blame and they love to scare people. I think this issue in Michigan is a serious one but I don’t think it’s the big issue that these other issues are."
The brain-damaged children of Flint might disagree with Rios's dismissal of their plight.
Saima Ahmad
What Happened: Ahmad, a second-year law student in London, sent a threatening letter to Nestle demanding a lifetime supply of Kit Kats after biting into one that contained no wafer.
The Details: Candy is a serious business, or at least it is to Saima Ahmad. After purchasing a Kit Kat bar, she was shocked to find it was all chocolate and no wafer. Taking advantage of her legal training, she wrote to the company demanding an apology for the "monetary and emotional loss" she suffered.
What happens if she doesn't get her decades of Kit Kats? Citing case law from the 1930s, she's threatening to sue the company for their negligence and violation of the "duty to care" for their customers. She also admits in the letter that her request is a long shot, and she's mostly "trying her luck," effectively wasting the time of everyone involved.
