This list ranks the best Denver Broncos of all time. The Denver Broncos are one of the charter members of the original AFL. Formed in 1960, the Broncos early years weren't much to write home about. But a Super Bowl berth in 1978 started the Broncos on a path to greatness and attracted star players to the team. Many of the teams after 1978 featured some of the greatest Broncos players of all time. The Broncos major turning point came when they acquired quarterback John Elway in a blockbuster trade with the Baltimore Colts. Considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Elway took the Broncos to six Super Bowls during his illustrious career in Denver. Elway is one of the best Broncos ever and an all time great.
As legendary as Elway is, he couldn't have gotten to six Super Bowls without a little help. When the Broncos defeated the Packers to capture their first Super Bowl title, it couldn't have done without one of the greatest running backs of all time. Terrell Davis is one of the most beloved Broncos superstars and on the account of his power running, Davis won the MVP of Super Bowl XXXII. Other Bronco greats like Shannon Sharpe, Rod Smith, Ed McCaffrey, and Steve Atwater were on those championship teams. After floundering without Elway, the Broncos picked up another all time great in the form of Peyton Manning. Even with his advanced age, Manning will be considered one of the best Broncos of all time, especially if he's able to capture a Super Bowl title.
This is a list of the best Denver Broncos of all time, including their current roster and Denver Broncos past players. If you notice someone is missing from this list of all time Broncos, feel free to add him. Vote or rerank this list of the greatest Broncos ever according to who you think should be considered the best in this NFL franchise history.

This is a list of the best Kansas City Chiefs of all time. Founded by football pioneer Lamar Hunt, the Kansas City Chiefs were originally the Dallas Texans. The franchise started in 1960, but moved to KC in 1963. The Chiefs had some of the best players in the AFL during those early days. Many of the greatest players in Chiefs history were on these teams. Superstars like Len Dawson, Buck Buchanan, Abner Haynes and Otis Taylor were on the Chiefs during the formative days of the franchise. With the foundation of the team in place, the Chiefs won Super Bowl IV with a convincing 23-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. That Chiefs team is considered one of the best teams in franchise history.
After those initial glory years, the Chiefs wallowed in the NFL wilderness for years. The late '80s saw the Chiefs draft two of the greatest players in team history, including one of the best linebackers ever. Beginning with Neil Smith in 1988, the Chiefs hit the jackpot when they drafted superstar linebacker Derrick Thomas in 1989. Thomas was one of the most feared defensive players in the league and along with Buchanan, is considered one of the best Chiefs of all time.
This list of the best Kansas City Chiefs dates back to the team's formation in 1995. If you notice someone who is missing from this list of all time Chiefs, feel free to add him. This is a list of the best Oakland Raiders of all time. The Silver and Black. Just Win, Baby. These are just a few of the phrases associated with what was once the most intimidating team in all off football: the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders. When Al Davis took over the team in 1962, a new style of football was formed. The greatest Raiders players blended speed and power, a new dimension to player evaluation introduced by Davis. The best Raiders ever attribute their success to the culture of the team and to Davis's leadership. The rowdy Raiders have been to Super Bowls in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 2000s, the only team in NFL history to do so. Some of the best players in Raiders history were on these teams. Famous Oakland Raiders like Ken Stabler, Cliff Branch, and Fred Biletnikoff are some of the best Raiders skill players while Gene Upshaw, Art Shell, and Jim Otto were powerful linemen whose grit allowed for these superstars to flourish.
The later Raiders team were flashy with superstars like past players Jim Plunkett, Howie Long, and Marcus Allen, who is one of the best running backs of all time, were parts of the later Super Bowl winning teams. Even though the team made a 12 year detour to Los Angeles, many of the team's best, most iconic players were in Oakland.

A list of the best San Diego Chargers of all time. The San Diego Chargers have one of the most star-crossed histories in the NFL. This isn't for a lack of great players. The Chargers have had some of the best players of all time on their roster. When the Chargers have been great, the players have been some of the best in franchise history. But for one reason or another, the Chargers haven't been able to breakthrough and win a Super Bowl. The Chargers are known for having some of the best offensive teams in football. When the best players in Chargers history are high flying like Dan Fouts, LaDainian Tomlinson, Lance Alworth, Kellen Winslow and Charlie Joiner, then offense is clearly a priority. All but Tomlinson are in the Hall of Fame and when the time comes, don't be surprise to see him get inducted as well.
That doesn't mean that the Chargers don't have some of the best defensive players as well. Junior Seau was a 12-time Pro Bowler who is one of the best linebackers ever. Seau was one of the toughest players ever to play and is still a popular Chargers player, maybe even the greatest linebacker player of all time.

List of the most beautiful women of all time: ranked not on talent or accomplishments, but on looks alone. This is a test to see if the so-called "wisdom of the crowd" will actually be able to determine who the most beautiful woman of all time is. If you'd like to rank these women on more than their beauty, consult The Best Actresses in Film History list. This list does not only include the prettiest current actresses, but the most beautiful women in history.
So, who is the most beautiful woman ever? Of course, that woman may very well be a total unknown, but since it's impossible to list every woman who's ever existed, and one is less likely to rank people they don't know, this list will obviously be restricted to people who've achieved a fair level of celebrity. A "fair level of celebrity" is defined by being famous enough to have a profile page on Wikipedia or IMDB. Historical figures are accepted IF pictures of them are generally accepted as accurate. Add your own suggestions and this should hopefully be an ever expanding list.
These ladies are the top of the list in the conversation for sexiest woman ever and prettiest woman in the world. These are the hottest women of all time, definitely in the top 10 most beautiful women ever.

This is a list of the greatest Washington Redskins of all time. The Washington Redskins are a deep that's rich with tradition. Formed in 1933, the Redskins are have had some of the greatest players in football history wear its uniform. The team has won five championship, with two before the AFL-NFL merger and three Super Bowl titles in the 1980s and 1990s. Despite a dry period that ran from 1946-1970, the Redskins have been one of the most successful teams in the NFL. They have featured a number of Hall of Fame players and some of the best players ever, especially on offense.
Like many NFL teams, when the Redskins have a great quarterback, they are more likely to achieve success. Beginning with "Slingin'" Sammy Baugh to Sonny Jurgensen to Joe Theismann to Robert Griffin III today, the Redskins have had some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL on its team. Another position of strength for the Redskins has been its offensive line. Nicknamed "The Hogs," the Redskins teams of the 1980s had one of the best offensive lines in the league, and easily one of the most memorable nicknames ever. Along with a superstar receiving cores with Art Monk, Gary Clark and Ricky Sanders, the Redskins won three Super Bowl titles in nine seasons from 1982-1991. Those teams are some of the best in team history.

You love anime but what tops this list of the best anime series ever made? The blanket term "anime" in the US can refer to any animation originating in Japan, and specifically differentiates a few aspects of Japanese animation from more Western styles. (This includes the Japanese propensity to feature adult themes and stories in animation, as opposed to Western "cartoons" aimed primarily at children, as well as the exaggerated, fantasy-oriented and colorful style of Japanese animated visuals.) "Anime" can refer either to animated films or TV series, furthering the confusion. (Anime is often incorrectly used to refer to Japanese comic books as well. These are actually known as "manga," though many anime series are based on or inspired by popular manga.) Check out the best anime of 2014 for newer recommendations!
Anime TV series first found popularity outside of Japan in the 1980s and have continued to find larger and larger audiences in the West. A number of anime shows originating in Japan - such as Cowboy Bebop or Dragon Ball Z - have found enthusiastic audiences for dubbed versions in English speaking countries. (Pokemon, a series inspired by Nintendo's blockbuster series of video games, has been an ongoing hit franchise in both Japan and the US.) The anime style has grown so popular in the US, it has stared to significantly influence the style and aesthetics of American animation. Shows such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Afro Samurai and Samurai Jack have borrowed heavily from anime in terms of pacing, subject matter, and design.
This list collects the best Japanese anime TV series of all time. American series that have been influenced by anime, such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, are not included.

The most nausea-inducing great films manage to make moviegoers squirm with discomfort, but leave the theater feeling like they've seen a really solid movie. Some films on this list are, not surprisingly, straight-up horror movies, but others are more psychologically disturbing. Either way, every film on this list can be, to some, nausea-inducing and generally unsettling. Be sure to vote for the movies that you think were the most difficult to watch, and, if you know of a particularly nausea-inducing great film that isn't listed, add it.
Movies don't always need to have wall-to-wall, graphic violence to induce nausea, but it helps. Films like 'Drive,' 'Reservoir Dogs' and certainly 'Pulp Fiction' fall squarely in the gratuitous violence category, but they are all excellent movies. Some of the films on this list, including 'A Clockwork Orange,' 'Midnight Cowboy,' 'No Country for Old Men,' 'American History X,' 'Fargo,' 'Crash,' were nominated for, and won, Academy Awards. Many are considered among the best films of all-time ('Scarface' comes to mind immediately). But one thing they all have in common: Each movie listed here can be upsetting to watch.
In terms of outright horror movies, sure, most of them do have extremely graphic, hard-to-watch violence in them, but not all horror films can truly be called 'great.' Some, like Stanley Kubrick's 'The Shining' and John Carpenter's original 'The Thing' manage to scare us silly and nauseate us at the same time.
Nausea-inducing great films can stay with someone long after the last frame is shown. They are disturbing and they haunt you. That's what this list is all about, so be sure to vote for your favorites and add any movie that I've missed.

Some of the greatest movies of all time do not have sequels. For many of these amazing movies, that's a good thing (we don't need a follow-up to the likes of The Shawshank Redemption or Schindler's List), but there exist some amazing movies that deserve sequels but have yet to receive them. Meanwhile some of the worst movies ever, like Twilight and Transformers, have had multiple sequels. In the hopes that something good comes out of the sequelverse, we've compiled this movies that deserve sequels list.
Films that need sequels are varied and include some cult classics (The Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), some action favorites (True Lies, Independence Day), and some wild card movies (Dude, Where's My Car?, Kindergarten Cop). The common bond here, however, is these are all top movies that should have sequels and don't.
What are the best movies without sequels? What films should have sequels? What movies have sequels in the works? This list of movies that need sequels will get you all riled up that there's a Smurfs 2 and an Air Bud 7, but no follow-up to your favorite movie. People are anticipating the exciting Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so it is fitting to look back, and look around, to past and current television shows that brought our superheroes into our living rooms and off of the printed page. Are you looking for sad anime that will make you cry? Well look no further, because for this list we're ranking the saddest anime of all time. These series come from a wide variety of genres, but they share the commonality of being depressing as hell. Yes we've included mainstream shows like Naruto, but don't even try to say that show doesn't have some of the saddest moments in anime history. Films are included here too, so you'll be seeing sad anime movies like 5 Centimeters Per Second and Grave of the Fireflies on the list below.
Sometimes even one death in an anime can cloud the whole series with sadness. Perhaps the saddest death in all of anime goes to Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist. The funeral and burial scene is notorious for making people cry, especially when Hughes' daughter Elicia starts to ask her mom where daddy is (the scene is included below if you want to watch it).
Are we missing a really sad or depressing anime that you feel deserves to be here? Go ahead and add it to the list! How melancholy something makes you feel is subjective, so don't be afraid to add an obscure or less mentioned anime.

Anyone who lives in Los Angeles can tell you that despite the city’s reputation as the promised land of the entertainment industry, there’s a darkness that looms over the town like a dense fog. For every new restaurant that pops up, there’s a bar or hotel that seems to radiate a sad evil from its insides. One of those places is the Chateau Marmont, a hotel that caters to those members of the celebrity elite who either want to block out the outside world, or get up to no good without being surrounded by cameras. There’s such a wealth of Chateau Marmont stories that you could almost build a secret history of Hollywood with them, and we’ll tell you some of the best tales on this list of the insane things that really happened at the Chateau Marmont.
The famous people at Chateau Marmont range from actors to musicians and even photographers. While you’re probably aware of at least one of the Chateau Marmont deaths, but there are definitely more than coked out comedians hanging out in the hotel. Modern Chateau Marmont celebrities are a special brand of star, they long for the golden age of Hollywood when you could have a drink (or a speedball) in private, and when you could still drive a motorcycle through a hotel without anyone batting an eye. The stories of famous people at the Chateau Marmont are anything but your normal Hollywood gossip, and the craziest stories are all here for your reading pleasure.

F. Scott Fitzgerald Had a Heart Attack in Front of the Hotel
There are varying reports on where exactly this story took place - some say the lobby, while others say in front of the hotel. But in the late '30s, after suffering a myriad of losses in Hollywood, F. Scott Fitzgerald had a heart attack somewhere on the grounds of the hotel after suffering yet another blow to his career.
James Dean Jumped Through One of the Windows
While auditioning with Natalie Wood for what would be his break out part in Rebel Without a Cause, James Dean jumped through a window to impress director Nicholas Ray. The stunt must have worked, because the rest is history.
Howard Hughes Spied on Women Sitting Poolside
Out of all the stories about celebrities in the Chateau, this is one of the strangest and more than likely embellished. Allegedly, whenever he stayed in Los Angeles, Howard Hughes would rent Room 64, a two bedroom penthouse, with the perfect view for spying on starlets lounging at the pool.
Helmut Newton Crashed His Car Into the Hotel and Died
Aside from John Belushi, the only other life that the Chateau has definitely claimed is that of famed photographer Helmut Newton, who lost control of his car while leaving the hotel in 2004 and slammed into a wall. He died later that day at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Jim Morrison May Have Fallen Off the Roof
It was the beginning of the end for Jim Morrison when he stayed at the Chateau Marmont. One harrowing story that's seen a few different versions is of Morrison either climbing onto a roof, or onto his terrace and trying to swing into his room, only to slip and fall on his back, injuring himself in the process. The singer claimed that his time spent at the hotel used up "eight of my nine lives."
John Belushi Died of a Drug Overdose in Bungalow 3
Perhaps the most famous, and unfortunate, tale that ever took place in the Chateau Marmont is that of John Belushi's death. According to a court report, Belushi was mixing heroin and cocaine (a combo known as a speed ball) on the night of death and died in his sleep.
Jean Harlow Had an Affair With Clark Gable
In classic Hollywood style, Jean Harlow (of Hell's Angels and Saratoga fame) had a wild affair with Clark Gable at the hotel in 1933, while she was supposed to be on her honeymoon with cinematographer Harold Rosson (her third husband). After that affair ended, she would allegedly leave messages at the front desk, saying, “Gone fishing,” when she went on the hunt for men to bed.
Lindsay Lohan Charged $46,000 to Her Room
If the stories on this list tell you anything, it's that it's really hard to get banned from the Chateau Marmont - unless you're Lindsay Lohan. In 2012, the troubled actress ran up a $46,000 bill at the hotel for everything from her standard room fee to cigarettes and even Architectural Digest.
Britney Spears Smeared Food on Her Face
We all remember the strange days of 2007, when Britney Spears was smack dab in the middle of a psychotic breakdown. Even though her head shaving gets most of the attention, one episode that deserves discussion is a meal at the Chateau Marmont where the "Toxic" singer reportedly began to smear food on her face until she was ejected from the restaurant.
John Bonham Drove a Motorcycle Through the Lobby
Much like every Led Zeppelin story, this tale has been repeated so many times that it's impossible to separate fact from fiction. Allegedly, Zep's drummer, John Bonham, drove a Harley (his 25th birthday present) through the hallway of the hotel.

Groundhog Day has been around since 1887, and its traditions go back much further than that. As the lore goes, if it is cloudy when Punxsutawney Phil of rural Pennsylvania emerges from his burrow on February 2, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, he'll see his shadow - meaning winter weather will persist for six more weeks.
What happens on Groundhog Day is a variation on weather lore practiced by ancient peoples for thousands of years, and brought to America by German immigrants. Phil himself has a rich folklore surrounding him, from the "elixir of life" that gives him immortality, to the friendly rivalry he has with the many other weather-divining groundhogs out there. His handlers supposedly keep him safe, and can communicate with him in his language.
If it all sounds a bit silly, well, it is. But Groundhog Day facts aren't about cold hard truth - they're about upholding an ancient tradition and celebrating the coming of spring. Here are some of the most unusual things about this odd holiday.
http://www.ranker.com/list/groundhog-day-facts/mike-rothschild,
Ancient Europeans Were All About Animals Predicting Their Weather
The modern Groundhog Day has its roots in ancient European weather folklore. With no accurate way to predict temperature and rain, Middle Ages farmers used everything from the halo of the moon to the positioning of cows tails. Animals were part of this, and these people would often rely on checking the shadow of a badger or sacred bear to see if winter would drag on.
Phil Inspired a Truly Disgusting 1880s Cocktail
The gimmick of Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog who can predict if winter will end quickly or linger for six more weeks, caught fire. Within a few years, the small local Groundhog Club expanded into a national curiosity. In response to this, they stopped eating groundhog, and also ditched their cocktail of choice, a "groundhog punch" that contained vodka, milk, eggs, orange juice, “and other ingredients."
According to Legend, Phil Speaks His Own Language
So how does one know a groundhog has seen its shadow? In the case of Phil, he communicates directly with the Inner Circle president in "groundhogese" - a tongue that only Phil and the president can speak.
In reality, the Inner Circle decides ahead of time, based on the weather, if Phil will see his shadow. Who says politics isn't rigged?
1887 Was Punxsutawney Phil's Debut as a Weather Predictor
In 1887, centuries of unofficial traditions came together for the first Groundhog Day celebrated in the traditional Groundhog Day capital of Punxsutawney, PA. The town had the usual German groundhog festival, which included eating the animal as a delicacy. The editor of the town's paper, Clymer H. Freas, declared that the town's local rodent, whom he named Punxsutawney Phil, was the world's only true weather predictor.
A small crowd gathered at the top of Gobbler's Knob, a small hill outside the small town, to celebrate the little fella's emergence out of the ground, and to check if he saw his shadow. He did that year, incidentally.
German Immigrants Brought Weather Divining Rodents to America
It's likely that the modern Groundhog Day tradition came with German immigrants in the 18th century. Weather lore was still popular in Germany around this time, with a typical "German farmers rule" reading something like:
"If the badger is in the sun at Candlemas, he will have to go back into his hole for another four weeks."
When these German farmers settled on the East Coast, they brought their weather lore with them, but groundhogs were much more plentiful than badgers, hedgehogs, and bears. So the groundhog became the prognosticating animal of choice. The first recorded reference to a February 2 "Groundhog Day" is from 1841.
The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club Doesn't Mess Around
The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club's Inner Circle takes its role in popularizing Groundhog Day very seriously. They take care of Phil for the entire year, plan each year’s big ceremony in Punxsutawney, and when it's time for Phil to appear, they go all out, wearing top hats and tuxedos for each ceremony.
There are 15 Inner Circle members and each has a nickname that vaguely comports to their non-Groundhog Day real world occupation. Among them are longtime president Bill Deeley, his "Protector" (from whom???), Iceman, Thunder Conductor, and The Big Windmaker. Don't mess with these guys.
Punxsutawney Phil Is Immortal - Thanks to Drinking the Loch Ness Monster's Pee
The Inner Circle's lore states that Punxsutawney Phil is the same groundhog from year to year, all the way back to 1887. How does a rodent that doesn't usually make it a decade live for over a century? Chalk it up to a magic Elixir of Life that he takes a sip of every seven years, a magical brew containing a variety of herbs and fruits, ice from Antarctica, and the urine of the Loch Ness Monster.
Dozens of Other Imposter Groundhogs Predict the Weather
In keeping with its European origins, there are countless other groundhogs and rodents that see their shadows and predict if winter will end or continue, most of them on the East Coast or in Canada. New York City has a yearly Groundhog Day event at the Staten Island Zoo featuring Staten Island Chuck (aka Charles G. Hogg).
There were almost three dozen others in 2015 alone, from Chesapeake Chuck to Nibbles to Dover Doug and Sir Walter Wally. Not to mention an annual event in Woodstock, IL, where the Bill Murray film Groundhog Day was shot.
Their predictions were pretty much split down the middle. The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club Inner Circle considers these other groundhogs usurpers to Phil's throne as sole prognosticator of weather.
Phil Gets Cranky If He Can't Have a Drink
Legend has it that during Prohibition, Phil was so incensed at being kept away from his booze that he threatened the people with a staggering 60 weeks of winter - unless he was allowed to have a drink.
Groundhog Day Has Both Pagan and Christian Elements
Groundhog Day is likely an extension of the Christian holiday Candlemas, which was held on February 2, 40 days after the traditional birth of Christ. But like Christmas and Easter, Groundhog Day also has an element of pagan ritual to it.
Specifically, it echoes the Celtic pagan holiday of Imbolc (pronounced "i-MOLG"), also celebrated on February 2, and serving as the traditional halfway point of winter. The festivities had an element of weather divination, often using the shadow of an animal burrowing up from the ground to predict if spring would come early. Then there was drinking and dancing around a fire.
