Well before he was appearing in films like The Big Lebowski and Crazy Heart, Bridges was growing up in Los Angeles, California, where he was a child actor. Bridges has starred in an impressive list of films, including True Grit, Tron, The Contender, Against All Odds, Seabiscuit, Arlington Road, The Giver, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Starman and The Fisher King. Bridges starred in The Last Picture Show in 1972 and won an Academy Award for Best Actor making him one of the youngest actors in history to be nominated for the award.

Bridges is also a talented musician who studied piano and guitar as a child. He starred with Kris Kristofferson in the 1980 film Heaven’s Gate, and he frequently played guitar with his co-star in-between takes.

Who is your favorite character on 'The Walking Dead' TV series? With season three of this awesome drama series in the can, it's time to decide who the best 'Walking Dead' characters are, by voting. 'Walking Dead' fans, get ready to sound off, by casting your votes up or down in this poll for the characters in this AMC drama, which is without a doubt one of the best shows on TV right now.

It's no surprise that many of us believe that Rick Grimes (played by 'Walking Dead' actor Andrew Lincoln) is the best character on 'The Walking Dead.' The same can be said for Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and several other original characters, some who are, sadly, no longer with us.

The sexiest women in action movies manage to command the screen with their physical abilities and their acting skills. These are women not to be toyed with, under any circumstances. They're hot, they're highly trained and they'll kick your butt to kingdom come if given the chance. Who is the absolute sexiest woman ever cast in an action movie? That's for you to decide. Vote for your favorites, and vote down those women that you don't think measure up. Also, feel free to add any actress that you think deserves a place of honor on this list!

Some of the sexiest women ever to appear in action movies include the likes of Uma Thurman ('Kill Bill'), Kate Beckinsale ('Underworld'), Angelina Jolie ('Lara Croft,' 'Wanted' and 'Salt') and Milla Jovovich ('Resident Evil'). Those are all shining examples of incredibly gorgeous women who've had sexy roles in several different action movies and/or franchises. Some actresses on this list have only appeared in one or two action films, but they were so smokingly hot they make the cut. Examples, you say? How about Geena Davis in 'The Long Kiss Goodnight' or Demi Moore in 'GI Jane'?

While many of the sexy actresses in action movies appeared in films during the 1970s and 1980s (Pam Grier in 'Foxy Brown,' Linda Hamilton in 'Terminator 2' and of course, Sigourney Weaver in 'Alien'), there are some recent roles worth noting. Jennifer Lawrence's turn as Katniss Everdeen in 'The Hunger Games' was stellar, Scarlett Johansson was a fantastic Black Widow in 'The Avengers,' MMA star Gina Carano kicked a** in Steven Soderbergh's 'Haywire' and Anne Hathaway promises to make an amazing Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises.'

A complete list of bands and artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, ranked in order of preference by music fans. For a list of artists who deserve to be inducted but haven't been yet, check out this guide to Artists Who Belong in the Rock Hall of Fame. And be sure to vote down all the artists you don't think belong in the Hall of Fame!

The Rock Hall of Fame - located in Cleveland, Ohio - was established in 1986 and is dedicated to preserving the rich heritage and memorabilia associated with rock music. Each year, a list of bands and artists is nominated to join the pantheon of all-time greatest musical acts in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Out of these nominees, only a handful are then chosen as actual Hall of Fame inductees. To be eligible, a musician or band must have released their debut album at least 25 years previously. (This eliminates flash-in-the-pan or "fad" artists from getting through, leaving the honor of joining the Hall of Fame open only to those artists who have made a lasting impact on rock music.)

2012's inductees are Guns N' Roses, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Laura Nyro, Donovan and The Small Faces. Nominated acts that were not selected this year include Eric B. & Rakim, Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Spinners, Donna Summer and War. The Rock Hall of Fame decision-making process has been criticized frequently, for collecting all the power in the hands of a few individuals, and for ignoring genres that are not considered "purely" rock (such as hip-hop.) As well, some critics cite the numerous classic, iconic artists who are eligible but have not been inducted. These include Hall & Oates, Yes, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, Rush, KISS and Sonic Youth.

List of the most beautiful women of all time: ranked not on talent or accomplishments, but on looks alone. This is a test to see if the so-called "wisdom of the crowd" will actually be able to determine who the most beautiful woman of all time is. If you'd like to rank these women on more than their beauty, consult The Best Actresses in Film History list. This list does not only include the prettiest current actresses, but the most beautiful women in history.

So, who is the most beautiful woman ever? Of course, that woman may very well be a total unknown, but since it's impossible to list every woman who's ever existed, and one is less likely to rank people they don't know, this list will obviously be restricted to people who've achieved a fair level of celebrity. A "fair level of celebrity" is defined by being famous enough to have a profile page on Wikipedia or IMDB. Historical figures are accepted IF pictures of them are generally accepted as accurate. Add your own suggestions and this should hopefully be an ever expanding list.
