David Beckham is that player with annual earnings in excess of $50 million, over $44 million of which comes from endorsements from companies like Adidas, H&M and Breitling.

Also among these best soccer players are the best soccer players of 2013. These players, like Robin van Persie, Gareth Bale and Andres Iniesta, are playing the best football of their careers. They are peaking in the sport and see little signs of stopping anytime soon.

The top Harry Potter characters come from a rich universe crafted on the page and adapted to the screen, giving us some of the best movie adaptations from books of all time. Since the Harry Potter universe is one where there are 75 (75!) main characters in the Harry Potter movies and books, there's little surprise that they are some of the most beloved (and hated) characters of all time.

That said, the question in front of us is "who are the best Harry Potter characters?" and it is a tough one to answer. Do you go for the obvious and choose Harry the hero, or pay respect to Voldemort, one of the best movie villains of all time? Do you go for brains with Hermione or charm with George & Fred? These are the questions we're confronted with when attempting to name the greatest Harry Potter characters ever.

Since both the Harry Potter books and movies can be taken into account, it's up to you to decide if you want to vote for the Harry Potter characters as you imagined them or as they were portrayed on screen. Since the books are among the best selling series of all time, there's a good chance you've read them and can compare notes with the movies. The greatest heavy metal bands include some of the most iconic names in music. Bands like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath paved the way for many of today's biggest acts. They're bigger than just heavy metal -- they're among the best rock bands/artists of all time. Which one is the best? That's up to you to decide with your votes. If you'd like to rank these women on more than their beauty, consult The Best Actresses in Film History list. This list does not only include the prettiest current actresses, but the most beautiful women in history.

So, who is the most beautiful woman ever? Of course, that woman may very well be a total unknown, but since it's impossible to list every woman who's ever existed, and one is less likely to rank people they don't know, this list will obviously be restricted to people who've achieved a fair level of celebrity. A "fair level of celebrity" is defined by being famous enough to have a profile page on Wikipedia or IMDB. Historical figures are accepted IF pictures of them are generally accepted as accurate. What makes a character live on in the public's memory, even years after the original run of their respective TV programs? In some cases, it's the amount of depth that the show's writers, actors and other creators were able to bring to the character over the course of many years. For many of the greatest TV characters of all time, audiences feel like they get to know personalities like Dexter Morgan from "Dexter." Even after the show leaves the air, they may not want that relationship to end. (Thankfully, they don't have to, as many shows live on for years after their cancellation on DVD and in syndication.) The best TV characters are ones that you feel like you know and that you'd want to be friends with.

TV has brought many characters to life who have been extremely compelling, even if they are not entirely likeable. Viewers may not wish to know dangerous, shadowy figures like Tony Soprano, Vernon Schillinger and Omar Little in reality, but following their exploits safely from the comfort of your living room can be appealing. Likewise, people who might be aloof or downright unpleasant in real life - think "Mad Men's" Don Draper or Al Swearengen of "Deadwood" - can prove charming, even admirable, when seen at a distance, with the subtext and intricacy that a long-running TV show can provide.

But then there are the ones that have a particular figure in them, a monster or a man or a pale child... that really makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Which is the scariest? Jason Voorhees first appeared in the film Friday the 13th in 1980.

Chucky first appeared in the film Child's Play in 1988.

Why he's utterly terrifying: Though he appears to be a cute toy, Chucky is actually a serial killer who used voodoo to transfer his soul into a doll.

Leatherface first appeared in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 1974.

These ‘will they or won’t they?’ couples have added romantic tension to the best television shows and given viewers a reason not to miss an episode -- after all, no one wants to say they missed the moment when a will-they-or-won’t-they TV couple finally did or didn’t. Sometimes frustrating, sometimes sweet, the best will-they-or-won’t-they couples viewers have enjoyed are on this list, from early television to currently-running series.

 The ‘will they or won’t they’ trope is nothing new to TV shows, and the list of problems that can keep seemingly destined-for-each-other couples apart is nearly endless. One half of the will-they-or-won’t-they couple might already have a boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband (think Pam and Jim) or the two may appear not to get along, even though viewers can sense the underlying romantic feelings. Other common problems for will-they-or-won’t-they TV couples are location, job or social position, or the unwillingness of one half to commit (think Carrie and Mr. Big).

 Sometimes a will-they-or-won’t-they couple causes problems for a TV series. If the biggest appeal of a show is whether a couple will get together, will viewers still tune in after they do? On the other hand, the ‘will they or won’t they?’ storyline can become too drawn out, leaving viewers irritated. Of course, will-they-or-won’t-they couples have also caused some of the most touching and most heartbreaking moments in television. The first kiss or a marriage proposal after a drawn out will-they-or-won’t-they storyline can even bring a tear to the eye.

From restaurants to bars to nightclubs to stores, these are the best hangouts on TV -- no apartments or houses, though. Vote up the coolest places.

 TV characters have been gathering at hangout spots since the dawn of television. Remember Lucy Ricardo’s over-the-top antics designed to get her into the act at the Tropicana Club? Ricky Ricardo’s Tropicana Club is one of the forerunners of awesome TV nightclubs, whether they feature live acts. More recent examples include the Bait Shop from “The O.C.” and TRIC from “One Tree Hill” -- both TV hangout spots viewers would like to visit.

 Some great television hangouts aren’t known for their excitement or charm. Take Paddy’s Pub from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” This great TV hangout isn’t much to look at, but it would be an interesting place to have a beer -- and perhaps be served by a surly waitress. Or consider Monk’s on “Seinfeld.” Although the decor isn’t amazing, TV hangout spots don’t get much cozier.
