"How to Train Your Dragon 2" movie quotes bring another installment of the animated adventure movie back to the big screen. Based on the first film and a book of the same name by Cressida Cowell, the 3D film was written and directed by Dean DeBlois. "How to Train Your Dragon 2" opened in the United States on June 13, 2014.
In "How to Train Your Dragon 2," five years have passed since Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) and his dragon, Toothless, brought dragons and vikings together. Still living in Berk, Hiccup and girlfriend Astrid (voiced by America Ferrera) travel around on their dragons discovering new lands. One such venture leads them to a dragon sanctuary which Hiccup is surprised to learn is operated by his long, lost mother, Valka (voiced by Cate Blanchett).
Valka reunites with both Hiccup and Stoick (voiced by Gerard Bulter) and tells them about a threat to their land. Drago Bludvist (voiced by Djimon Hounsou) is set on building a dragon army and it will take someone really special, someone whose destiny it is to save them all, to keep the peace. Whether he's ready for that or not, Hiccup is that special someone.
"How to Train Your Dragon 2" wasn't the only great film in theaters in June 2014 as it opened alongside "22 Jump Street, The Fault in Our Stars," "Edge of Tomorrow," "A Million Ways to Die in the West," "Maleficent," "Night Moves," "Filth," "Blended," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "The Immigrant," "The Love Punch, "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, "Million Dollar Arm," "Godzilla," "Palo Alto," "Chef," "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return Movie Quotes," "Neighbors," "Moms' Night Out," "Devil's Knot," "Belle," "Walk of Shame," and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

…

A Mother Never Forgets
Valka: "I bet you think you know a lot about dragons. Let me show you some of what you don't know."
Hiccup: "Should I know you?"
Valka: "No. You were only a babe. But a mother never forgets."
Hiccup is startled to come upon his long, lost mother. While he doesn't recognize her, as she mentions, a mother never forgets.
Dragons and Vikings, Enemies Again
Hiccup: "Dragons and vikings, enemies again! Aww! You know that doesn't wash out!"
Hiccup jokes about him and his dragon, Toothless, not getting along. Toothless crashes that thought real quick with an affectionate lick to Hiccup's face.
Life Here Is Amazing
Hiccup: "This is Berk. Life here is amazing. Dragons used to be a bit of a problem, but now they've all moved in! And with Vikings on the backs of dragons, the world just got a whole lot bigger."
Hiccup gives a status update on what's happening five years after the first film. Now, dragons and vikings are good friends in the land of Berk and it's changed how they get around, see the area and made their world a whole lot bigger!
It's Your Destiny
Stoick: "Protect our people. It's your destiny."
Stoick urges his son Hiccup to take charge and protect the people of Berk from the wrath coming care of Drago. While Hiccup lacks the confidence, Stoick pushes him, saying it's his destiny.
You're As Beautiful As the Day I Lost You
Stoick: "You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."
Stoick is quite emotional when reuniting with Valka. He's more than happy to have their family back together again.
Itchy Armpit It Is
Hiccup: "So, what should we name it?… Itchy Armpit it is."
Hiccup asks for some naming advice while adding a new section to his map. Using what his dragon, Toothless, does, he selects the glorious name of Itchy Armpit.
What You're Searching for Isn't Out There
Hiccup: "Where have you been?"
Astrid: "Where have YOU been?"
Hiccup: "Avoiding my dad!"
Astrid: "Oh no, what happened now?"
Hiccup: "I sauntered down to breakfast thinking all is right with the world and I get, 'son, we need to talk. You're the pride of Berk, son, and I couldn't be prouder."
Astrid: "Ah, thanks, dad. I'm pretty impressed with myself too."
Hiccup: "Have I ever done that with my hands?"
Astrid: "You just did!"
Hiccup: "Ah, okay, just hold still! It's very serious. 'You're all grown up and since no chief could ask for a better successor, I've decided…"
Astrid: "To make you chief! Oh my gods! What an honor! I'd be pretty excited!"
Hiccup: "I'm not like you. You know exactly who you are, you always have."
Astrid: "What you're searching for isn't out there, Hiccup. It's in here."
When Hiccup shares his news with Astrid, she is elated that he's been selected as the next Chief. Hiccup on the other hand is not confident that he's the best man for the job.
