Top 10 Best Black Fighters in Fighting Games
Black people have come along way in fighting games from the redundant Mike Tyson-boxer types to more cool characters like muay thai fighters, american soldiers and ninjas. This list is based on fighting ability and personality.

Boman Delgado
If Rival Schools were still around Boman would likely be higher on this list but since its not, Rival Schools is very obscure and only remembered by those who played the games. If anyone wants a example of a positive black character in video games Boman should be a prime example, he's a devoted christian with many talents and a non-violent personality. On the downside his fight style is boxing (ugh Tyson-esque) but he's a pretty "scrappy" fighter as someone on Youtube said.
Bruce Irvin
"I'm your worst nightmare" Uhh yeah that doesn't work for him but anyway after a crappy portrayal in the animated Tekken film (non-canon by the way) Bruce returned in a better way in Tekken 5. Although I do think Bruce has become a tool since reuniting with Kazuya, he's proven to be a complex character with a soft spot for children and apparently animals.

Christie Monteiro
Namco originally wanted to portray capoeira with a female fighter, finally in Tekken 4 they created Eddy's sexy love interest Christie who is apparently the granddaughter of Eddy's master. Christie is graceful as she is gorgeous and like Eddy its best to train yourself with her otherwise forever be button masher.
Dee Jay
As someone who knows about a racist portrayals of Caribbeans, Dee jay is definitely one of the non-racist Jamaican representations, non-offensive ethnic portrayals in Street Fighter and arguably the only positive thing that Capcom USA has created. The Southern Comet always has good time although his smile has become creepy after a while. Overall his style is cool & flashy and he's one of my favorites in SF-Alpha 3 & SFIV.

Eddy Gordo
Although his fighting isn't completely reminiscent of the Brazilian martial art, Eddy has made the art more famous as his real life counterpart Lateef Crowder Dos Santos, who by the way portrayed him in the live Tekken movie. Love Eddy's style he's definitely someone you have to practice with before using.
Balrog
The archetypical Mike Tyson rip-off, he's not necessarily a positive representation but his style is effective for a boxer and sometimes he has his comical moments.

Dudley
Unlike Balrog who is vicious but not as mobile, Dudley is more skill-based and has more moves and is more likable, (though personality varies from SFIV and SFIII)
Raven
The resident badass of Tekken along with Kazuya, a ninja-blade-Simon Phoenix esque type character with some of Nick Fury's traits but much cooler.

Jackson "Jax" Briggs
Another badass in his own right, a calm and level-headed American soldier as opposed to Sonya (who's a hothead) I believe Jax was originally intended to be a kickboxer with an outfit resembling Jim Kelly's yellow gi in Enter the Dragon but the actor John Parrish apparently ripped it lol. Jax's cybernetic arms were very creative considering what he was fighting against like demons, sorcerers and Gods.

Jeffry McWild
If Kimbo Slice (MMA) and Mako Tsunami (Yu Gi Oh) did a DBZ style fusion, Jeffry McWild would be born. Now if only Sega could give him better quotes instead of the mess we hear now (they need to overhaul all the VF characters quotes for the matter)
