1994 Commonwealth Games
Some of the details of the Commonwealth Games boxing event and some of the small steps in the planning process are documented on the Wikipedia site, but to appreciate the end story and results, there are hundreds of folks that were part of the plsnning and the actural even between 1989 to 1994. Some of those that participated along the six year long road have been inducted into the BC Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame including boxer ALLAN BAYNE. Others are builders and volunteers BERT LOWES, GEORGE ARMSON and RICK BROUGH.
